CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has been serving the region for nearly 30-years, is dedicated to providing medical resources to Northern Nevadans in need free of charge. CARE Chest’s Medical Resource Programs include: Durable Medical Equipment and Supplies, Prescription Assistance, Diabetic Supplies, Supplemental Medical Nutrition, Independent Living & CARE Loans, Mobile CARE Chest, and Rural Outreach. CARE Chest’s programs fulfill needs left by gaps in public and private insurance and the current service provider environment. Last year, nearly 15,000 individuals received services.
