Customers can learn recipes, tactics and secret sauces for appetizers and other game-day foods from Cabela’s staff and vending partners using various cooking methods and wild game. Free demonstrations and seminars will be offered on indoor and outdoor cooking equipment, and feature techniques to help you get the most out of your smokers, pellet grills, fryers, can cookers and much more. Cabela’s will be cooking Elk sliders and Jalapeno sliders wrapped in Wild Boar from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Cabela’s Mountain Man Bourbon rub will be featured on both items and we will be cooking the poppers not only in a Cabela’s Magnum pellet grill but using the Popper rack. Other items will be featured outside with the grill such as the beer can chicken cooker, wing rack and rib rack, weather permitting. The Elk sliders will be the deli special that day, as well. We’ll also have copies of favorite recipes from our outfitters available for you to take home and try yourself.
