Frame-Shop @ Lakeside is extremely well run, professional, insightful with respect to what framing works well in what settings, and all-around a great shop.

I came in 30-minutes before close with a large project. I was greeted by the owners and they walked me through various options I was afforded through their extensive collective/catalog.

We landed on an option that I felt would be beautiful in my home. The staff offered extremely sound advice with respect to what type of framing style should be used -- I'm very pleased with not just the border of the frame, but also how the print is hung in a "floating" fashion within the frame, which exposes some beautiful details in the artwork. I'm also grateful that the owner recommended that I _not_ splurge on the most expensive acrylic to protect the artwork. I feel that we made an excellent balance between quality and affordability.

I've used them a couple times for framing and have been really pleased. They were patient with my search for the perfect frame and matte which was not easy. Prices are reasonable and they try to help you save by offering in stock material at half price.

We have been here a number of times both for new framing and some repairs on an old piece that was in need of remounting. They know what they are doing and will recommend what will work best for you and not what is the most expensive. They are always friendly and professional. Framing is expensive, but it is an art and a skill. I truly believe when getting a piece of art-work framed you get what you pay for.

They worked with us to reframe antique print It was in desperate need due to some water damage to the matting. Also, the frame was coming apart and the adhesive had dried out and the print was shifting. They were able to renovate the frame and secure the print in acid-free matting.

They are definitely the best place in town to get your treasured items framed.

The staff here provided great assistance with recommending frames and matting. I never felt rushed and pressured into making a decision until all alternatives were exhausted. The framing job was done in a reasonable time frame and all my frames came out looking great!! I highly recommend this locally owned business! And so nice!! An added bonus is they're dog friendly!!

Stopped in at their Vista shop and wow what a great selection and the services are superb. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable in all varieties of materials they can provide. Really recommend if you have a treasure to frame or looking for a shadow box to frame a memory this is your one stop stop! Great job!!

Given the current Covid epidemic, I wanted to help support local business when I had a framing need. As it turns out this shop has been family/locally run for many years.

With Christmas looming, I needed a present for my oldest daughter. I remembered a print we bought from an artist at Sac Anime the year before and thought it would be nice to make it more presentable. The staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. They even had a "poster" special which worked perfectly. I know custom framing is expensive, but their rate was quite reasonable. Even better, despite the holiday rush and my late submission they were still able to finish just before Christmas. My daughter loved it!

The staff at The Frame Shop were a huge help in putting just the right frame on this portrait of my dog, Moses. They worked with various frame colors and backgrounds before we decided on this one to catch the gold in his eyes.
