Vitalant formerly known as United Blood Services is the sole provider of blood products for all of Northern Nevada and the Eastern Sierras. On average we require 150 blood donations a day to keep up with local demand. We are always looking for new community partners to help provide patients with the life saving products they need via blood donations. Vitalant’s purpose is to help people realize their life-transforming potential through the selfless act of donating blood
