Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB) is dedicated to creating a cleaner, more beautiful region through education and active community involvement. KTMB programs include Adopt-A-Spot, Adopt-A-Park, Neighborhood and Open Space Cleanups, Christmas Tree Recycling, the Waste Warriors education program formerly known as "The Trash Lady", the Litter Index. Most recently, the One Trucker River initiative, a partnership with the Nevada Land Trust and over 20 stakeholders in the region to craft a comprehensive plan for the future of the river.
